A Work of Art - Seating Chart!

What started out as just an idea on how to tackle the otherwise exhausting battle of where to seat your attendants came this idea of using a seating chart.

In just a few quick steps I was able to use the invitation along with the names of the guests, printed out on matte 20x20 paper, and fitted in a frame and placed on an easel for support. Simple as that!

The stand was placed at the front of the restaurant and as my guests arrived they got to see this gleaming picture of my son and then directed to their respective seats. Alas, done with the days of tent cards!

Then when it's all said and done you can put the matted frame over the writing and have the 8x10 picture still showing and this you can hang up as a momento of that special day.

Seeing Obama

...no not me. Not into politics myself. But I was asked my a mother in one of the mommy groups I am in to help her out with a photo if I could. The minute I saw it I knew it would be a huge challenge so I couldn't say no! It was a picture of Obama that she had taken and there is this huge black podium covering half his face. My challenge was to get rid of the black thing...easier said than done. I was lucky enough that him being a politician it was easy to find a pic of him with the same facial profile. I had to "merge" the pictures together to rebuild his hair and replace the missing ear. The skin tones in the pics were different because of lighting differences so that had to be corrected as well...but the end result is absolutely amazing (not to toot my own horn)! Check it out!
