"Breakfast at Tiffany's" themed bridal shower!

I had the pleasure of making the invitations and menus for a "Breakfast at Tiffany's" themed bridal shower!

These are very "high end" invitations...with a pocket folder around the invite and a sleeve for the menu...and I added a rhinestone pull for a bit of flare on the menus as well :) I was very pleased with the results and wanted to share a pic of the final products!

Wedding Invitation Trends...

This years brides are not afraid of color! Bold is beautiful...and anything goes this year as far as wedding stationery goes! Brides are throwing the "traditional" white/ecru wedding invitations out the window and making it a personal affair. Many brides are opting to DIY invitations or custom made to give their weddings the personal touch. Pocket invitations and self-mailers are huge right now and can add to the color pallet. Dark chocolate is the new black and black is the new white. Ecru is boring and there is no place for it in the modern brides wedding!

Wow...it's been awhile!

This is Jen of craftylilmomma's. Sorry for the hiatus but Jodie and I have both been very busy with other things. Jodie is going to have a baby in a couple of months...congrats Jodie. And I have been busy doing editing work for a local photographer! It's been exciting but now I am ready to try and take over a bit while Jodie is focusing on her family. I'm ready to get this party started again and we are about to totally revamp the website!

I'm not a very good blogger but I hope to learn as I go so please be patient with me :) Glad to be back!
