Destination Weddings Vegas Style

This has got to be the funnest wedding I have worked on so far. The couple is great...they are so laid back and fun! They have been together for 15 years and are FINALLY running off to Vegas to get married. I had the pleasure of making their Save The Dates and wedding invitations. For the Save The Dates I make postcards where I changed the Vegas sign to say Save The Date with their names and wedding date on it. And if that wasn't cool enough I then designed custom clay poker chips with their pic and wedding date on them...then attached a magnet to the back so people could put it on their fridge!

After that we knew that it was going to be hard to top...but we did it! For the invitations I designed a "boarding pass" with the RSVP attached to the end. You just tear it off and send it back...just like you would a ticket if you were boarding a plane! They are beyond fabulous! The pictures just don't do them justice. We stuck them in a fire engine red pocketfold and they were ready to go!

My beautiful niece...

I created this collage for my best friend of 15 years. She has 6 children...3 boys and 3 girls. Her youngest (and last) was just born in May and it is her 1st daughter that she had since birth (the other two girls are actually her nieces that she and her husband are adopting). They have wanted this baby girl for sooo many years and now that she is here she finally completes the family :) So without further ado I introduce little Abby...

Baby shower gift for a friend...

I made this name plaque for a friend of mine's baby shower. I think it turned out nice. It's 8x10 and I am going to have it framed in a dark brown simple frame. This is the first time I've made one like this with all the different patterns. Let me know what you think!

My designs were featured on another blog!

I was soooo honored to be contacted by one of my myspace friends who said she featured me on her blog! This was a total surprise because this is not someone whom I talk to a lot and it was totally unexpected! Here is a link to her blog and also links to her myspace page. Anyone who is planning a wedding needs to add her because she features some of the best and most creative ideas to make your wedding unbelievable!

Design sets for the business world

Recently I had the pleasure of doing a whole design set for a brand new business that is openning in my area! This set included logos, business cards, VIP cards, envelopes, gift certificates, & more! The owner was a pleasure to work with and everything turned out amazing...the pictures should speak for themselves.

I think I am about to do something foolish...

I am needing to build my wedding portfolio and I need a high-end bride! Soooo...I am coming to you loyal blog viewers for an opportunity!

Here is what I am offering. I need to do a complete matching wedding assemble using high-end materials. When I say assemble I mean everything from the Save the Date to the wedding favors...pretty much anything that is printed or customized for the wedding...if there is something you want that I can't do I will let you know!

I am looking for a couple that is getting married in 2009 and without major budget constrains (don't contact me and expect to make 100 invitations on $50...that's not going to work) and who will give me design control. Of course the couple will have their choice of theme, colors, and they will approve all the designs BUT I don't need someone that is going to tell me exactly where I should put things or which font I HAVE to use. I understand if you don't like a design but if you think you can design it better then you can do it yourself...in all respect :) I am sooooo trying to not sound like a snot as I write this but I feel like I may be coming off as one.

I also want permission to feature you on my blog as my feature couple and show my work. I would also want you to send me pictures from your wedding when it is done of my work being used and of you having a wonderful time of course!

Here is what I am offering...I will do the entire assemble AT COST! The only thing that I will charge that would be a profit for me is assembly charges if you don't want to assemble everything yourself. Now just because I am doing it at material cost does not mean they will be cheap. I will be using quality materials (pocketfolds are not cheap!). The invitation alone may end up costing between $3-5 each...but that is opposed to $7-10 each! That's a HUGE savings!

So! Here is what I need YOU to do! I need the couples that are interested to email me at jen@craftylilmomma.com with your names, your story, your theme, colors, and tell me why I should pick you as my feature couple!

I'm excited, I can't wait! So go ahead and email me!
