Photography business cards with a modern whimsy

I have been approached by a repeat customer to design her some business cards to match a new photography website she is having designed.  Here is a screenshot of the site she is having built.  She told me she wanted her business cards to have the same flair/feel to them…kinda classy modern with a bit of whimsy with the bubbles.  Sophisticated and fun at the same time!  As I was designing the cards I tried to ride the fine line…didn’t want them too stuffy yet couldn’t be too childish either…had to get just the right amount of bubbles and in just the right places and colors…lol.  It wasn’t as easy as you would think!  I actually had a difficult time and redid it several times before I was happy with the balance…but I will let you be the judge.  I welcome your comments :)

Sweet Dreams Design collage

My boys had the absolute honor of modeling some of the cutest clothes available for Spring 09. The uber talented designer Anna Gardner (http://www.sweet-dreams-designs.net/) is having a booth at Cottontails Village and needed a nice display…April Kuhlmann (Once In Every Life Photography) & Jen Harris to the rescue! April took the pics of course, I did the design. I think it’s adorable and can’t wait to see pics of the booth!

Oh and did I mention that my oldest is the boy on the lower left :) My other son is already in her other displays so he isn't on this one.

I've been blogged about again! What an absolute treat it is to be talked about by some of the most talented people I have ever met! This time I was blogged by April Kuhlmann from Once In Every Life Photography...an ubber fabulous photographer with a style that can not be matched. I have had the priviledge of working with her on building a new image for her company by creating a new logo and marketing materials for her...

FOIL - boutique business cards...tricks of the trade

I use foil for ALL my business cards because if you use foil in the right way there is NO WAY that your card will not get noticed. Just take a look at the pics and tell me that you would overlook these cards (if you say yes you would be lying).

Design sets for the business world

Recently I had the pleasure of doing a whole design set for a brand new business that is openning in my area! This set included logos, business cards, VIP cards, envelopes, gift certificates, & more! The owner was a pleasure to work with and everything turned out amazing...the pictures should speak for themselves.
